These are a couple of the sweetest pictures I have ever caught on camera of either child.  Don't let them fool you though... Charlotte is a lot more crazy and wild daily than she appears here and Beckett is preparing to spit his drink out.  haha!  Yes, my kids are definitely sweet, but to capture it is rare so I will take it when I can get it....

Beckett is our little climber.  He has recently discovered he can climb all by himself into sister's chair and sit down (although he frequently gets in trouble for standing in it too!)  Here are some pictures so you can see his cute faces of concentration and the joy of success, well, maybe its the joy of playing with big sister's stuff too...

Life this week

Well, it FINALLY happened... Beckett got his first tooth!  Over 13 months old, better late than never, though, I guess.  haha!  It was actually pretty uneventful and in the middle of the night too, which is even better.  I'm sure a lot more will be popping in soon, so hopefully it won't be too tough on him.  And maybe now he'll start to be able to really enjoy more food than bananas and other soft things that he can smash in his mouth. 

Charlotte is seeming so grown up these days, and at almost two and a half, she has quite an imagination.  She is telling silly stories and making up songs, and of course has the occasional imaginary friend for the day or tells us that people are coming over to play with her, which I'm guessing they are unaware of.  On top of it all, she is quite the silly and funny girl.  Her days of meltdown dramas are fewer, and she now is just a silly jokester many days.  Always the entertainer!

For us, its just parenting and jobs as usual, although Kevin has been doing double duty at home and helping out a lot with the house and kids since I've been feeling extremely crummy this pregnancy.  Hoping this stage is over sooner than later.  Almost 9 weeks now and at 10 weeks I get to go in finally talk to a nurse.  Looking forward to getting these baby appointments going!  I still can't believe somedays that we're going to have three "babies" around here!  We know it will be challenging at times, but are so happy to have another one on the way and know that the kids will be the best of friends, especially being so close in age.

We had a fun birthday weekend celebrating our little guy's 1st birthday.  Here are some pictures and video of the fun times we had!  Great family memories!

Both kids actually took long naps and at the same time today too!  A very rare sight to see right after naptime around here is happy kids playing, but that's what happened today!

Its been a little while... longer than I like at least. It seems like summer just makes everything a bit busier. And this warm weather makes my kids a little bit grumpier usually too, which affects everyone's schedule. Regardless, we definitely have our fun days and are enjoying the beautiful weather we've been having.

Well, now that I've posted these, it explains a lot about why I haven't been on the blog much lately... we've just been busy enjoying life together as a family! 

(And I'm exhausted from doing all of this too!  haha!) 

10 months old

Our little guy is already 10 months old! Its gone by so fast I can't believe it!

Haircut!

We finally had to give a haircut in this house! (Charlotte still has only had a few scraggly pieces trimmed off.) Beckett was starting to look like a crazy mullet baby, so we pulled out the clippers and cut his baby hair off today. Ah! He did amazing!! Mommy was probably more upset than he was about the whole ordeal. My baby now looks like a "big boy." Here are some before and after pictures of our little stud:
